CURLING ----------------------------NON-SPORT

Curling? Think of shuffleboard on ice.

I decided to put curling to the test mainly for our Canadian friends since most people in the US probably don't have clue one about what this nifty little game is all about.

Curling ranked low in all areas but especially low in physical exertion, and it should be obvious why, because there is no physical exertion needed for this.

Like I said, shuffleboard on ice, I still can't figure out the brooms though.

If it weren't so cold to play, I'm sure there would be a much larger following in the U.S… on second thought, maybe not.

FINAL WORD: Leisure activity

Facts:
· According to the Canadian Curling Association's official web page, the origins of curling will remain a mystery… no kidding!
· The site also claims that one of thrills of curling is listening to the stone as it grinds and slides across the ice… now that's a good time.
· Did you know that curling has a "Code of Ethics"? Anything with a code of ethics has no real chance of being a sport; can you imagine football with a code of ethics? Remember, if you're not cheating, you're not trying.
